He is survived by: his wife Bernice Smith; his children, Shelton Smith (Hope), Stacey Smith Hocutt, Audie Smith (Tonya) and Kerry Smith; his stepchildren, Jeff Chamblee (Teresa), Carol Martin (Mike), Vinnie Chamblee, Kathy Griffin (Daniel) and Shelly Bowman (Lee); his grandchildren, Kailey Smith, Cody Smith, Alexandria Smith, Jon Johnson, Jessica Tatum, Justin Hocutt, Austin Hocutt, Cassidy Hocutt, Brianna Hinkle, Auburn Smith, Denise Armstrong, Tyler Griggs, Shawn Smith and Cierra Smith; and his siblings, Ray Smith (Joann), Connie Smith (Faye), Billy Smith, Inez Sullivan and Linda Hill (Joe). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
