He is survived by: his wife Sue Fortenberry Garrett; his children, Bobby Garrett, Linda Garrett Hill (Mike), Catherine Denham and Mary Pounders; his grandchildren, Chris, Owen, Alex, Joseph, Saadya, Aundrea, Brier, Payton and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Takota, Jiraiya, Jayce, Grant, Dakota, Marlee, Tala and Evelyn.
