It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Stanford of Brilliant, Alabama, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Stanford and Margaret Connor Stanford; and his son Timothy Stanford. He is survived by: his wife Sara Knight Stanford of Brilliant, AL; his children, Regina Simmons (Chad) of Winfield, AL, Melissa Hall (Anthony) of Guin, AL and Michael Stanford (Angela) of Guin, AL; and his brother James Franklin Stanford of Winfield, AL. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren.
