He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kirk and Isabelle Kirk (Mary Ann McDonald); his grandson Nikolas Robinson; and his siblings, James, Jack, Billy Gene, Donald Walter, Jerry Russell, John Henry, Raymond Glenn Kirk and Betty Ruth McCarver.
He is survived by: his wife Delia Payne Kirk; his daughter Rachel Ann Green (Charles); his stepdaughters, Amanda Russell, Katie Derr (Jeremy) and Lauren Guess (Trevan); his grandchildren, Deven, Quen, Keyondra Robinson, Jacob McCamey, Josie Tolliver, Ben, Scarlett Guess and Kenny Derr; and his brothers, Ronnie Kirk (Debbe), Kenneth Kirk (Joanie) and Wayne Kirk (Sarah). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bridgeport Church of Christ or the American Heart Association.
