She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Richard Smith; her parents, John F. Cooper and Julina Wigley Cooper; and her brothers, Jack, Sam, Lindsay, Doc Cooper and Jim A. White.

She is survived by: her sisters, Kate Colvin, Myrtle Cooper, Ollie Higdon, Dorothy Thomas and Emline Cooper; and her children, Ron Smith (Debbie), Judy Campbell (Jimmy), Wendell Smith (Cathy) and Terry Lea Burrows (Sammy). She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren 12 Great- Grandchildren.
