He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William "Bill" Tate, Frances Tate, Robert Wilson Layne Jr. and Emma Meeks Layne; his father Danny Lee Tate; and his sister Kimberly Parman.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Cassandra King; his mother Shirley Tate; his sister Dana Ingleburger (Bubba); his brother-in-law Michael Parman; his children, Chelcey Rayome (Sean), Courtney Caroll (Austin), Layne Tate and Carly Tate; his grandchildren, Emmy, Rylie Rayome and Eli Caroll; his nieces and nephews, Anna Duncan (Forrest), Kyle Ingleburger (Kaitlyn), Taylor Parman and Tatum Parman; his great-nephew Henry Duncan; his aunt Dianna Casteel; his uncle Robert Wilson Layne III; and his close friend Casey Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital or Winchester Masonic Lodge #158.
