He is survived by: his children, April Burkett Jackson, Robert Michael Burkett (Goober), Crystal Lynn Nall and Savannah Hodnett; and his siblings, Reatha, Arthur, Essie, Mary, Edwina "Red" and Tasha. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
