He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Lindsey and Naomi Worthington Lindsey; his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Sims Lindsey; and his siblings, Wayne Lindsey and Louise Ball.
He is survived by: his children, Shelby Lindsey (Sandi) of Brewton, Alabama, Lavon Lindsey (Melanie) of Brewton, Alabama, Sherry Nichols (Tim) of Brewton, Alabama, Therese Downs (Willie B.) of Brewton, Alabama, Kira Lindsey (Jimmy Douglas) of Brewton, Alabama and Naomi Lindsey of Brewton, Alabama; his siblings, Donnie Lindsey (Gwinett), Catherine Murphy, Sharon Murphy, Ruth McVey, Brenda Gale Drawbaugh, Dale Hill and Jean Smith; and his grandson Austin Lindsey. He is also survived by Grandchildren; A host of Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Open Bible Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
