She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoleon Rowell and Mary Louise Houston Rowell; her son James Darryl Ellis; her grandson Knox Lane Ellis; her brother Pete Rowell; and her stepmother Frances Trawick.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Coffield of Brewton; her children, Suzanne Pugh (Alton) of Brewton, William Brian Ellis (Kim) of Pace, Jon Doyle Ellis (Nancy) of Pace, George Kevin Ellis (Kim) of Chumuckla, Steven Coffield (Tracey) of Lumberton Texas and Justin Keith Coffield of Cantonment; and her siblings, Melvin Rowell of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Rowell (Ann) of Pace and Judy McGruder (Mac) of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
