He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Brooks of Brewton, Alabama; and his father Horace Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Beasley Gibson of Brewton, Alabama; his mother Mary Carter of Brewton, Alabama; and his children, Corrie Gibson (April) of Brewton, Alabama and SuAnn Cole (Wade) of Brewton, Alabama.
