He was predeceased by: his parents, Middleton Hagood "Doc" Hammac and Betty Jo Scott Hammac; and his siblings, Wanda Jo Blackwell, Timothy Alan Hammac and Dennis Ray Hammac.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jean Hammac of East Brewton; his children, Jamie Hammac of Brewton, Ryan Hammac of Evergreen, James Garret of East Brewton, Oakley Hammac of East Brewton and Emori Hammac of East Brewton; his brother Scotty Hammac of Talladega, AL; and his close friend Margie L. Jackson of Evergreen, AL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
