It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Miles Knowles of Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Grace Knowles; his parents, James Arthur Knowles and Stella Cooper Knowles of Headland; and his brother James Arthur Knowles, III of Headland, Alabama.. He is survived by: his sister Becky Knowles Smith of Cullman, Alabama; his sons, Edward Miles Knowles, Jr. (Ned) of Empire, John Michael Knowles of Pensacola and James DavidKnowles (Liz) of Brewton, Alabama; his grandchildren, StaciaKnowles Price (Carden) of Union Point, Georgia, Samuel Cresap Knowles of Empire, Rachel Knowles Stinson (Allen) of Newnan and Robert Grace Knowles of Monroeville, Alabama; his great grandchild Edwin James Stinson; and his friend Paul Richard Dagle of Pensacola, Florida.
