He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barley and Essie Roberson; and his siblings, Chesley Roberson and Jeanette Ellison. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Barnett "Betty Kay" Roberson; his children, Jamie Parker (Danny), Linda Richburg (Tony), Liz Carter (Joey), Sue Higdon (Jamey) and Rusty Roberson (Andrea); his grandchildren, Zach Richburg (Dana), Frank Carter (Mandi), Jolene Yuhasz (Shawn), Jennifer McDonald (Brian), Jessica Levin (Todd), Karie Fleming (Joe), Jeremy Higdon (April), James Robinson (Tabitha), Emily Michaels (Ryan), Luke Roberson (Morgan), Chase Rider, Hannah Weaver (Lane), Donnie Parker (Jennifer) and Wendy Parker (Brian); his sister Jean Lawson; and his brother-in-law Randall Ellison. He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Craver's Funeral Home (44 Foshee Rd, Brewton, AL 36426). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
