He was predeceased by: his parents, Willbert and Zedith; and his sisters, Wima Bettencourt, Kathy Gunkel and Christine Hileman.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Garcia; his children, Kimberly Miller (Byron), Deidra Thrasher (Brian), Shannon Garcia, Roger Lee Garcia, Amber Jones and Cathlena; and his siblings, Ray Garcia, Dorothie Duarte and Tammy Wilson. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rockco Funeral Home (805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, AL 35042). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pondville Cemetery.
