He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kinard and Gladys Kinard; his son Shawn Cassidy Kinard; and his brothers, Gordon Kinard, Glen Kinard and Donald Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kinard; his children, Davy Kinard (Hannah) and Crystal Kinard; his stepdaughter Stephanie Jackson (Todd); his grandchildren, Forrest Hale (Amber), Nikki Hobson, Catherine Kinard, Abby Kinard and Cora Kinard; and his brothers, Garvis Kinard (Shirley) and Garland Kinard (Faye).

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rockco Funeral Home (805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, AL 35042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Kinard Mathis Cemetery.
