It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William O'Neal Hogeland of Bremen, Alabama, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermon McClendon-Hogland and Ethel McClendon-Hogland; and his sisters, Mickie Fendley, Shirley and Gene Lamar.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Graves-Hogeland; his sons, Dennis (Susan Tolbert-Hogeland), Jerry (Teresa Anderton-Hogeland), Terry (Pat Fromhold-Hogeland) and Jeff (Ginger Waldrep-Hogeland); his brother Steve (Laurita Clemons-Hogland); and his brother-in-law Richard Fendley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
As a proud member of the Masons, he upheld their values of integrity, charity, and community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.
