He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernard and Lieutella Graves; and his siblings, Thomas Graves, Valetus Graves, Norman Graves, Symbol Johnson, Mamel Moehring, Flora Graves and Lora Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Graves (Johnson); his children, Donna Moore (Paul), Diana Harper (Duane), Skip Ellison of Maryland and Lynella DeVillier of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Heidi Messer (Brandon), Joel Moore (Vanessa), Anond Sethabutr (Jing), Thawinun Hruska (Scott) and Chonthicha Saengthapthim; and his brother Brady Graves. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, sister, Lieu Senn; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
His repertoire was extensive and was noticeably missed when Alzheimer's Disease stole his memory.
