She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey McKiernan and Margaret Lavelle McKiernan; her husband Fred Szostak; her grandson Michael Twomsley; and her great grandchild Rhett Elizabeth Scott.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Harbison (James), Colin Twomsley (Linda) and Fred Szostak (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Lisa Pulliam (Mark), Jimmy Harbison (Kim), Kelly Scott (Roy) and Matthew Twomsley (Jaclyn). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
