With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Eugene Evans of Bremen, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Evans and Eleyse Evans; his wife Beth Evans; his daughter Christine Evans; his grandson Brayden Evans; his siblings, Del Evans, Sherry Turman and Joan Jenkins; his father-in-law Jack Ballard; and his brother-in-law Ron Kendall.
He is survived by: his children, Cathlene Turner (Brett), Erin Evans (Chip Brasher), David Evans (Olivia Timpson), Tim Weaver (Brittany) and Paul Weaver; his grandchildren, Easen Evans, Isabella Echols, Gabriel Hughes, Lexi Weaver, Samuel Turner, Emma Weaver and Madie Weaver; his sister Janet Kendall; his mother-in-law Grace Ballard; and his brothers-in-law, Edwin Jenkins and Harlan Turman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Forest Crest Cemetery.
