He was predeceased by: his parent Milligan Gunter; and his brothers, Runyon Gunter and Roger Gunter. He is survived by: his mother Effie Gunter (Johnson); his wife Patt Gunter; his sons, Jarrod Gunter (Lynn) and Nick Gunter (Sara Beth); his grandchildren, Landen Gunter, Ashton Gunter, Kila Rae Gunter, Lily Gunter, Jasper Gunter, Addi Gunter and Lukas Gunter; and his siblings, Sheila Payne (Doug), George Gunter (Teresa), Jeff Gunter (Brandi) and Marsha McDonald (Terry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
