She was predeceased by: her husband Chuck Spinks; her parents, Billy Neal Taft Sr. and Peggy May Taft; and her brother Billy Neal Taft Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Higgins (Jennifer), Dawn McMillin (Jeremy) and Jeremy Higgins; her siblings, Sharon Wright (Alan), Brenda Pate, Robbin Caradine (Jack) and Jerry Taft (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Jaelin Higgins, Makayla McMillin, Joaquin Higgins, Kaden McMillin and Jaxson Higgins.
