She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertis Cecil and Ruby Brown Abbott; her sisters, Ema Lea Abbott Howlett and Geraline Abbott Woody; and her nephews, Micheal Woody and Jon Abbott.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Howlett; her brother James'Jim'Abbott; her sister-in-law Shirlene McSwain Abbott; her nephews, Larry Howlett (Sheila), Jeff Abbott (Lisa) and Jerry Woody (Penny); and her close friends, Carl and Diann Payne.
