He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Spivey Powell; his son Mickey Lynn; his daughter-in-law Janice Powell; his grandchildren, Jason Lynn Powell (Carmen) and Misty Powell Green (Brett); his great grandchildren, Zachary Powell, Natalie Powell, Sawyer Green and Isla Kate Green; and his sisters, Mavis LeGear, Margie Sansom, Mary Pryor (Gerald), Martha (James) and Ruth Smith (Hugh). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
