He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Brooks and Inez Smith Brooks; and his brother Alvin Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Senn Brooks; his children, Pam Cook (Jackie) and Brad Brooks; his grandchildren, Jody Cook (Lacy) and Paige Smith (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Mckenzie, Colton Searcy, Audrey Beth, Hudson Cook, Paislee and Paxton Smith; and his sisters, Jane Rayburn (Phillip), Betty Ann Dorsey, Doris Diamond (John), Lynn Brooks and Tonya Baria (Shane). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
