She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie Walker; and her husband Nathaniel Pruitt, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ella Wood (Billy), Abigail Wood (David), Monica Taylor (Douglas), Derry Walker, Vincent Pruitt, Nathaniel Pruitt, Jr. (Betty) and Johnny Pruitt (Liz). She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; forty great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
