He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee and Jessie Lee Burgans Cumbie; and his siblings, Lolean Greer and Roy Cumbie. He is survived by: his son Charles "Chuck"; his daughter-in-law Louanna Cumbie; and his grandson Jacob Samuel Cumbie.
