It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Hood Holladay of Brantley, Alabama, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George I. Holladay; her son Charles C. Holladay; her son-in-law Aaron Lavon Flowers; her parents, Sam Hood and Maude Estell Turner Hood; and her siblings, Foster Hood, Sam Hood Jr., Zora Lee Hood, Estell Couch, Lena Grayson Cole and Sybil Burdick.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda S.; her son-in-law Danny Spears; her grandchildren, Jason Flowers, Justin Flowers (Leslie), Michael Holladay (Debbie), Melissa Thompson (Charlie), Jennifer Kraft, Drew Spears (Chetney), Daniel Spears (Michele) and David Spears (Karina); and her sister Helen Toomey. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
