He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Gooden; and his grandmother Albrena Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Mona Crowe Gooden; his children, Kayla Nicole Crews, Kandi Walker (Edgar) and Dusty Gooden (Brittany); his grandchildren, Ryan Gooden, Abigail Gooden, Lauren Gooden, Jaxson Walker, Hannah Gooden, Oliver Crews, Brenleigh Gooden and Karter Walker; his mother Jean Bowers Hendrix; and his sister Yolanda Herrington (John Mark). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
