It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Walters of Bon Secour, Alabama, born in Frankville, Alabama, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elmore and Ella Jean Elmore; her husband Thomas Marion Walters; and her sister Pollye Leona Elmore. She is survived by: her son David Walters (Mary Ann) of Foley, Alabama; her grandsons, Chris (Cinnamon) and Todd Reyes (Kathryn); and her siblings, Maudie Hope (Jerry), Lucille Pritchard (Gene), Fannie Dearman (Glen), Wanda Brannan (Troy), Judy Pope (Cleve), Andy Elmore (Yvette) and Albert Elmore (Debbie). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Morgan's Chapel United Methodist Church, PO Box 88, Bon Secour, Alabama 36511. Donations can be earmarked for the food pantry or general ministry fund.
