Byrne; his sons, John Andrew Nelson (Mary Murchison), David Byrne Nelson (Pud) and Christopher Lee Nelson (Susan); and his grandchildren, David C. Nelson, Dr. Mary Marks Nelson, Elizabeth N. Nelson, Dr. E. Lockett Nelson, Emily I. Nelson and Andrew S. Nelson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
