He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Faulkner; his son Douglas Lewis; his brother Jerry Lewis; and his grandson Jacob Reese Harris. He is survived by: his son Daniel Lewis (Crystal); his brother Jimmy Lewis of Glenn Faulkner; his children, David Lewis, Donald Isbell, Wendy Sims, April Shaw, Terra Harris (William) and Jimmy Lewis; and his siblings, Glenn Faulkner, Judy Gates, Christine Thornton and Leon Carpenter. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
