He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Sims and Mary Thompson Sims; his brother Terry Bert Sims; his grandparents, Burton, Rethal Sims, Bert, Dot Thompson and Wynell Thompson; his uncle Jimmy Thompson; and his aunt Martha Thompson.
He is survived by: his uncles, John Bert (Glenda Thompson) and Tommy Arthur (Kathy Thompson); his stepmother Liz McClendon Sims of Albertville; and his nephew Tyler Walker of Joppa. He is also survived by Cousins and Special Friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests generous donations to Tim's favorite charity, the 2nd Chance Animal Shelter, 130 County Road 398, Boaz, AL 35957.
