She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. Dorsett and Ludie Simpson Dorsett; her husband James "Billy" Smith; and her siblings, Martha Ails, Corbin Dorsett, Joseph Dorsett, Bobby Dorsett and I. D. Dorsett.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie (Stacey Smith), Donna (Kevin Plunkett) and Wanda (Sherman Waits); her grandchildren, Damien, Viktoria Waits, Riley, Emily Cain, Alex Smith, Sam, Hannah Smith and Brooklyn Smith; her great grandchildren, Parker, Carter, Kyzlen, Gracie, Sterlen and Olive; and her siblings, Donald (Linda Dorsett), James (Connie Dorsett), Shirley Marshall of Boaz and Brenda Thompson of Geraldine.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mcrae Funeral Home (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd's Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
