In the sacred silence of farewell, Marlon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marlon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Elizabeth Bartlett; his parents, Gurley Bartlett and Gracie Bartlett; and his siblings, Billy, Buddy, Palmer, Gene, Elbert Bartlett and Wylene Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Hale (Lee); his granddaughter Savannah Roden (Nick); and his great grandchild Oliver Brock.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the ETOWAH MEMORIAL CHAPEL (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956).
