He was predeceased by: his fathers, Ben Thomas and Clifford Mae Ford Wier; his wife Marie Otinger Wier; and his siblings, Albert Wier of Allen Wier, T. G, Thomas Wier, Carl Wier, Everett Wier, Earnestine Wolf, Joyce Carden, Frankie Delano Arnett and Barbara Bates.
He is survived by: his nieces, Michelle Baker Weathers and Deborah Baker; his sister Bennie Edwards of Prattville; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Otinger of Boaz, Pauline Morton of Huntsville and Jorene Kendrick of Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
