He was predeceased by: his parents, George Birdsong and Dera Smith Birdsong; and his wife Melba Birdsong. He is survived by: his children, Randall (Carol Birdsong) and Connie Birdsong of Boaz; his grandsons, Conner Birdsong (Karla) and Wesley Birdsong (Holly); and his great grandchildren, Tait Birdsong, Asher Birdsong and Danna Birdsong.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Bethsaida Cemetery Fund, 2539 Bethsaida Road, Boaz, AL 35957.
