He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Sims; and his grandparents, David Kate and Dealie Alice Teal. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Collins; his children, Austin Sims (Haleigh) and SaraBeth Smis; his siblings, Sonya Hinton (Brian) and Myron Sims; his mother Janice Jewell; and his grandchildren, Kollins, Gracelynn, Bailey and Braxley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
