As we bid Jeanette Gaskin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jeanette Gaskin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Ray" McHenry; her parent Ruth Gaskin Fowler (Rita); her aunt Irene Gaskin; and her cousin Willy Joe Gaskin. She is survived by: her daughter Rita Brown (James); her grandchildren, Monica Powell (Eric) and Joshua Brown (Brandi); and her great grandchildren, Sam Christian, Kinzley and Myles Brown.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
