We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 101, James Martin Young Jr. of Boaz, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin Young Sr. and Lillie Temple Young; his wife Juliet Nell MacKenzie Young; his son Martin Young; and his great grandchild James Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Myrtle Miller, William T. Young (Bill), Harold Young, Louise Fielder, Eula Lee Watson, Gertrude Ross and Gerald Young; his sons, Arthur Young and William Young; his grandchildren, Stacy Young, Candice Young, James Young (Leah) and Daniel Young; and his great grandchildren, Kole Reed, Kayla Jo Floyd, Kerrah Basham, Reagan Young, Waylon Young and Adeline Young.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boaz Carr Funeral Home (807 Sparks Ave, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, James Martin Young Jr. and the Young family ask for monetary donations to be made to Walnut Grove Global Methodist Church, P.O. Box 144, Walnut Grove, Alabama 35990.
