Eugnia Vaughn Hammett Obituary

She was predeceased by: her father Fred; her sister Betty Garrad (James L. Hammett); her grandson Shane Hammett; her great grandchildren, Chance Hammett, Jaylen Hammett and Hanna Hogeland; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Hammett.
She is survived by: her husband James Lewis Hammett; her sons, James "Jim" Hammett, Allen Hammett (Tina), Darrell Hammett (Charlotte), Randall Hammett (Sharry), Paul Hammett (Martha) and Vaughn Hammett; her sisters, Barbara Entrekin (Connie) and Glenda Moxley (Robert); and her aunt Willadean Parks. She is also survived by grandchildren, (39) great grandchildren, and (15) great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Abundant Hope Church, 2065 Hwy. 179 Altoona, Al. 35952.
