She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Wester (Pete); her mother Gladys Higgins of Crossville, AL; her sister Helen; and her siblings-in-law, Willard Hooper of Crossville, AL, Gaynell and Lavone Hooper of Boaz, AL..
She is survived by: her children, Mark Wester of Boaz, Wade Wester of Boaz, AL, Angie Brasher (Freddie) of Boaz, AL and Cathy Wester of Boaz, AL.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grand child.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery (966-1298 Liberty Hill Rd, Boaz, AL 35956).
