We bid farewell to Virginia Anne Kretzschmar of Blountsville, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Virginia Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Goldie Elizabeth Shoemaker (Kenneth James Kretzschmar); her brother D. Dale Shoemaker; and her parent Denzer Shoemaker. She is survived by: her children, James Mathew Kretzschmar (Donna) and Laura Elizabeth Brown (Dan); and her grandchildren, Brian Hayes (Emily), Elizabeth Lamar (Jeffrey), Emily Trahan (Eric), Erin Smith (Shawn) and Laura Martin (Seth). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
