He was predeceased by: his parent Virginia P. Hypes Vance. He is survived by: his parent Emil E. Hypes; his wife Charlotte Ann J. Hypes; his daughter Marsha Hopkins of Brooksville; his children-in-law, Danny Hopkins of Brooksville, Jay E. Hypes, Beth Hypes of Blountsville, Jeffery L. and Tonya Hypes of Brooksville; and his sisters, Nancy Gilmore of West Virginia and Shirley Fields of West Virginia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VFW, Brooksville and Hospice.
