Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruby Baker (Blountsville, Alabama), born in Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 92, on July 4, 2018. She was predeceased by: her husband James Willie Baker; her children, Harold Baker, James Baker and Linda Baker Woodson; her parents, William E. and Gena E. Wise; and her siblings, Ruth Privett, Hilary Wise, Billy Wise, John Wayne Wise, Vince Wise, Florene Kiley, Lorene Wise, William E. Wise Jr., Maybell Wise and Virginia Wise.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Ruth Baker Martin, Sherry Briggs, Sue Sandlin, Jerry Baker, Tommy Baker, Ronnie Baker and Danny Baker; and her sister Jean Persall. She is also survived by five grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family request that donation be made to either the Rock Springs Cemetery Fund or the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
