He was predeceased by: his parents, Rob Posey and Hilda Posey; and his mother-in-law Ann Clowdus. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Clowdus Posey; his children, Will Posey (Abby) and Annalee Posey; his sister Karen Posey Franchimore (Sam); his brothers-in-law, Steve Clowdus (Diane) and Richard Clowdus (Beverly); his stepfather Roy Robertson; and his pets, Kena and Rex. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In leu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Children's Ministry at Lester Memorial United Methodist Church or to the Appalachia Service Project.
