He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lorraine Summerford, Mary Handley, Glen Odom, Wiley Odom and Elouise Bonner; and his parents, Isaac Odom and Stachie Evans Odom.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Burgess Odom; his children, Lance Odom, Forrest Odom (Jo Anne), Layne Odom, Dana Carlisle and Karron Drain (Buck); his daughter-in-law Kimberly Doggett Odom; his grandchildren, Greg Odom (Tina), Heather Latham (Jason), Anna Harris (Spencer), Sara Odom, Landon Odom, Jessie Odom Phillips (Chad), Robert Odom (Deeanna), Samantha, Dubrinsky-Clayton, Alex Dubrinsky and Eli Carlisle; his great grandchildren, Steven, Emily Odom, Case Latham, Ava, Jeremiah, Olivia Phillips, Max Dubrinsky-Clayton and Maverick Glynn; his brother Raymond Odom (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Martha Wolfcale. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws.
