She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Johns; her husband Fletcher Whitehead; her son Danny Whitehead; her parent Luvenie Starnes Johns; and her siblings, Lawrence, Wilburn, Elmo, Alton, Jimmy, Laura, Alene and Drucilla.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Gay (Harold); her grandchildren, Dana Whitehead, Heath Whitehead (Donna), Keith Whitehead, Kristy Mooney (Randy) and Amy Helms; and her sister Geraldine Fallin. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
