She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Mead; her parents, Guy Mead and Dorothy Mead; and her siblings, Melissa Taylor and Bobby Johns.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Mead (Ericka) of Cullman, Timothy Mead of Cullman, Patrick Mead of Blountsville and Adam Mead; her grandchildren, Fiona Mead, Lucy Mead, Theresia Mead, Elyssia Mead, William Mead and Jonathan Mead; and her brother Jeff Johns of Hanceville.
