She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Stephens; her sons, Arthur Stephens and Harold Stephens; her great grandchild Kinley Bobo; and her parents, Claude McClendon and Willie Mae McClendon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Haynes (Ellis), Barbara Bateman (Danny), Wayne Stephens (Lynette) and Gary Stephens (Tina); and her daughter-in-law Faye Stephens. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
