He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Chambers; his children, Deborah Murphree (Chris), Lynda Rhymes (Tommy), Kim Pratikakis (Nik), Natasha Price, Tracie Byrd (James), Art Poverennov (Katie) and Olya Coker (Adam); his grandchildren, Jessica Burchett, Lea Ivy Rhymes Wilson (Michael), Anna Rhymes Wiginton (Luke), Brooke Price, Douglas Rhymes, Max Searcy, Parker Byrd, Kaylee Byrd, Leila Price, John Searcy, Manolis Pratikakis and Kristen Byrd; and his brothers, Floyd Idus Chambers (Connie) and Coy Franklin Chambers (Willow Hugh).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Oneonta First Baptist Church.
